I have done and will continue to do both of these things.

My garage has 3 switches for all the lights. I actually pulled one switch out and turned it over because at least one was in the opposite position than the rest when the lights were on or off. That seriously effed with my head.

On another note, I also went through and made sure the screws on the outlet and switch covers all pointed the same direction....

As far as stupid.

My sister sent me a link to some crafty blah blah glitter bottle thing yesterday. I guess mommys find it hard to raise children that don't kick and scream when they are in trouble and they want to give them something shiny to distract them. Wow you guys are seriously OCD. I just slap on the toilet paper in the holder. I have never noticed if it was over or under. And I have never noticed what direction my light switches are!
