first off....California rolls don't count. If it's avacado seaweed rice and somestupid orange shavings of whatever crap they had laying around no...you did not eat Sushi.
the only time I overeat is when I eat sushi. I have to have every possible combination in the menu. I will eat raw crab fucked octupus anus simply because it's on the menu. I don't touch the sauce either...I just kind shovel it all down until the chopsticks light on fire. Hot Sake helps... |

Har-Har. Since I haven't had sex in a year and a half or so now, my sig doesn't apply directly to me.
I'm now waiting for my son to come home from school so we can go to this nice little Chinese buffet place that makes fresh sushi for the food bar.

I'm a sushi snob, therefore rolls aren't real sushi.
It's fresh seafood products either over rice (nigiri) or by itself (sashimi). Although some spices and seasonings to compliment the fish is fine such as freshly grounded rock salt, black truffle oil, soy sauce & wasabi, Ponzu sauce, etc. There's a sushi joint in LA called Tengu (one in the LA area and one in Santa Monica), where the chef will give you the appropriate sauces to go with the morsels, or no sauce at all. They always vary the fish inventory. One day you would have live eels, the next day you would have toro from three different oceans served side by side.
