I understand the creation fee. But the yearly fee? WTF Like it makes any difference in the system if your plate is 13A79 or FUKME Its still a string of letters/numbers that once put in, is completely automated.
That is why I won't have a vanity plate. I refuse to give them any more money!!!

In high school my car plate was OBLIVION. People always asked me what it meant. I told them it meant nothing. They didn't get it.

I would not have 666 on my plate either. Like I say to my husband... There's a REASON your dad's cell number has so many six's in it!! (It has 5 !!)
