This makes sense...I want to see Alaska...not Anchorage. I did fly through Anchorage twice...on my way to and from Japan but never left the airport.

That's right. Denver and Boulder are fun, but Nederland, Colorado is a sleepy little town. But you can't get to Nederland from any direction without taking some of the twistiest and steepest roads in Colorado.

yeah, the question was what cities do you want to visit, so my answer was none really because I don't really want to tourist any cities since I got to see DC finally. I want the adventures outside them.

My girlfriend is in New York City right now because she has a job interview tommorow. She's staying at Times Square and says that New York is one freak of a city. Is it that bad? I mean damn she lives in Atlanta and grew up in Chicago.

I receive notifications from AirTran and I do keep tabs on rates for a few select cities, Vegas being at the top. If I have the opportunity to get a cheap flight I will be there. I've already told Erik I'm going.

I feel the same way. I would rather skip all the cities and just visit all my TWF friends! If they live in a city, then OK but if not OK too.

Funny I haven't seen Cleveland on the list yet....

Kell, let me know when you hit Boston, Montreal, Chicago and NYC. I have some great recommendations for you.

Skip over DC if you ever get the urge. Outside of the history it's a shithole with a couple of very small pockets of nice.

DC is a total shithole, but the history is hard to turn down. I could probably spend a week there just figuring out the museums I REALLY want to dedicate some time to.

I grew up just south of DC so I had field trips there all the time. 8 years in DC and I still haven't seen everything. We got lost one time and discovered so much cool shit we never knew existed.

The main thing I miss about DC is the water. Atlanta has no open water except Lake Lanier which is a shitty ass manmade lake full of a bunch of rednecks who fish with boats that do 80mph and families who try and ski with pontoons that do 10mph. I've always liked the idea that in DC you could hop on a boat and go anywhere in the world you wanted.
