Don't forget a Muzzy pipe on thet ZZR... It makes a world of difference in sound.

Bah, Akro or Yosh IMO...I had a Muzzy on my Old ZX7 and it was ObFugginnoxious.

Ebbs had one on his ZZR and it sounded good. It's all subjective.

yeah my muzzy was actually quite good sounding... very quiet for the first 200 miles... but then broke in sounded perfect IMO...

and 618 for a full muzzy SS system is hard to beat

Well I like the old styling of the ZZR. It has actual shape, working fairing rather than the minimalistic/ ultra shrink wrapped look so popular today.

It is a 600 so you can take trips without much concern for fuel mileage or planning your stops around which bike shop will be open to swap on new tires.

Pillion accomadations are actually workable, not like the mouse pad seat on the current RR crop. Rider ergo's are a little more humane, I mean I can think of a hundred reasons to buy this over say a standard like the GSX600F, ER6 or FZ6, hell even the FZ1, VFR or modern suspersport.

I can turn exciting lap times at any of my local tracks stock as it sits, Ebbs bike held up to his debauchery just fine save that last loop and I really don't need anything more.

While I like the ER-6n I don't understand dropping the Z1000. They already dropped the Z750S in 2007 after only having it for two years in the US. At least the Z1000 lasted 6 years I guess...

I think the Z1000 was just a way to get rid of a ZX9 engine surplus. Dead sexy bikes for sure, just a small market niche that isn't that profitable in the end.

jay's bike has inverted forks. for a full size cruiser it handles amazing




naked hoolie bikes seem to have a limited market here. prob why we'll never get the cb1000. at least we get the speed triple and the super duke among a few others

Inverted Forks or not, I Could Keep up with him Nicely in the twisties....Given the chance to stretch my Bike's legs.

haha true nuff. he could def go faster if he had higher pegs though. he was scraping so much i thought he wouldnt have any when we got home
