BMW, I believe, says 12k for checking the valves. I do a check every oil change (6k) while the oil is draining out of the bike because I get bored and opening up the heads is fun and doesn't take very long. I don't adjust them every time. If they are close to spec I will usually just leave them alone.

I picked up my FZ last Labor day weekend with just under 17k on it and it's now at...21,5ish. I haven't really done much riding lately. I was busy with school when the weather was nice and now it's so freakin hot most days, I've only done a couple 100 miles trips the last 2 weeks. After the 7th I probably won't take a pleasure ride for 5 weeks, that's my summer quarter and they're cramming 10 week courses into it. It's gonna be the suck!

Been there and done that. Sucks for those few weeks but is nice when its done.

if the weather holds up here I will turn 60k on the priller in a few days

I've rode less than 250 miles this year. No desire to ride. I bet I don't even get 1k this year.
