There was a complaint a while back about a dead spot around 2500 in one gear(I don't remember which one)on the 06/07. Never heard if there was a fix but I don't hear the complaint anymore.

Actually it was at 5500 rpm in 2nd gear and 2nd gear only...kind of weird. Yes there was a fix...the dealer will switch the puter out.

My buddy had an 07 and had that complaint. I never rode it.

What's funny is I never knew there was an issue from riding it. It wasn't until I read about it online and then had to take the bike out and attempt to duplicate it and when I did...it was there.
In daily riding whether on a spirited run or just riding around I never hammer it at exactly 5500 rpm in 2nd gear evidently. If you hammer it at 5k or below it doesn't do it or 6000 or above...you have to be doing pretty much exactly 5500 in 2nd gear and 2nd gear only. No other gear at 5500 rpm would result in the same hesitation. A software issue no doubt. |

my 97 v8 limited was doing that yesterday on the way home from drill. Seemed to go away with od off and later wouldnt do it once the tranny fluid was warmed up
