Go Penguins! We are fortunate to have the AHL Penguins here (and season tickets!). The baby Pens have a 3 point lead in first and play their last game tonight. Went to the Flyers/Penguins game last week. I love hockey!

I didnt get to see the game, I was at the Grand Rapids Griffins hockey game. How is it that the Red Wings are so damn good yet their AHL affiliate doesn't even make the playoffs? Go Wings!!!

bah.. Wings had game in hand and let up two fucking goals in 9 seconds - two defense breakdowns.. unacceptable.. if you are up 3-2 in the other team's arena don't sit back you have to attack.. well i took the wings in 5 in this series anyways.. you had to know the preds would swallow one up just don't like to see it happen this way.. other than datsyuk's goal i don't think the wings had one quality shot in the 3rd period.. it was sick.. wednesday is a time for redemption and then bring it back home on friday to close the series..

That game was fucked up.. up 3-2 with just over 3 minutes left and they give up 2 within 9 seconds of each other.. Where is the Hasek of old. Giving up 4 goals(I don't count the empty netter at the end) in a night in uncharacteristic of him.

well although i am not very happy with hasek's play and i can definitely say he scares me a little bit - notice lately that on a routine cover up he sits on the ice for like 5 minutes and gets up real slow? wtf is that? its like his mind knows what his body needs to do but the two are not in sync so he is second guessing.. so yes its not the hasek of old for sure..

but the 2 goals in 9 seconds are both defensive breakdowns and unacceptable.. yeah hasek should have saved at least 1 of the 2 but when you play on your heels that shit happens.. I look at goal # 2 also and it was another 2 on one.. hasek was millimeters from making a brillant save..

i think hasek and the wings will come back strong in game 4..

the good news is now they can take the series at home..

you most definitely can't expect to go 16-0 in the playoffs and really imo its good for the wings to drop one like this because it inspires them otherwise they get lackadaisical..
