Default Pilot Road 2 190/50/17 review

well not exactly sure how many miles i got on it, but i think about a 1,000, and it doesnt show much wear, wearing even and sticks pretty damn good, wish i had wrote down the mileage when i put it on, but before was only getting like 1,200 miles out of a corsa III rear, if they keeping wearing and sticking like this, i'll buy more when its time

I have the Pilot Road 2's on my R1. They are amazing tires. Abit more expensive, but for the wear i'm getting out of them, they rock. I will definatly stick with them again. So far i'm at about 5000 miles on them and they still aren't showing major wear. Thats with daily riding back and forth to work, a 9 day Deals Gap trip, and weekend group rides.

Once we need to replace the tires on the wife's R1, i'm going to put the pilot road 2's on hers also.

I'll probably go with Pilot Roads for my next set.

Good to see you like them.

I'll probably throw another set of them on this year, if I can ever wear them out.

I liked mine for the 1,500 or so miles I put on them... Never really got a chance to test 'em under any really spirited riding, but they still looked brand new when I left the bike...

Pilot Road 2s are fucking awesome!!!

I slabbed them for about 2000 miles before I had a peice of glass get stuck in the tread and I had to replace the tire. But even at 2000 and over inflated it still wore very slowly. Could barely tell it was used and had tons of tread. I've ridden it in the mountains once and it stuck well. That's with a 160/60/17

I'll be in the mountains tommorow with a almost brand new PP front and a 50mile use PR2.

After much contemplation, these are going to be my next tires. I wonder how well a 2CT front/Road 2 rear combo would work. I don't like mixing tire types, but I'll still havea lot of life left in my 2CT front when the rear is gone.

I had a 2CT/PP combo before and had the 2CT/PR2 combo into the beginning of my PR2. But the 2ct was pretty much gone by then so I never got a chance to test the both. I've liked the PP/PR2 combo real well.
