Default Difference in valentine V1 prices

I'm looking at valentine V1 radar detectors, and I am seeing a huge price difference, from $350 used on ebay to $399 new from valentine to over $600 from other online stores.

Is there a reason for the price difference? and why is valentine cheaper than everyone else except one used one on amazon?

Also anyone have any good links to a new valentine?

Buy direct from Valentine, Bro. They keep track of your unit and have a great warranty and service dept. Also, Valentine used to offer rebuilt units for slightly less.

Thats what I'm looking at so far. I PM'd you about your setup. I really liked it, and I think I deleted what you sent me about it, or you didn't send me anything, I'm not sure.

Anyway, I'm looking to integrate my ipod, gps and valentine to run off bike power and pump it all into my helmet. via cable so I don't have to worry about batteries or charging, which i will wind up never doing.
