Default Rangerscott's nude pics released

This happened years ago on my way to work. I just got down changing the oil and I just sat the oil cap in place. I could have sworn I tightened it but obvisouly I didn't. Got about 5 or so miles to a stop. Made a right turn and my foot slipped off the peg. Looked down and found a surprise. Luckly the oil cap was down my drive road.

So yes, these little engine can fling some oil.

The upside is everything has a nice shine to it.

My boot actually enjoyed the oil. I ended up doing the other.

Clean up wasnt that bad, but freaking out about losing that much oil wasn't that fun. I just noticed my rear tire looks like a show bike busa.

I hear ya, I had a similar scare on my TLS, either the countershaft seal or clutch pushrod seal let go on me and oil was gushing out. I rode severla blocks, looked in my rearview and saw a lot of smoke, figured it was acar behind me. Then I glanced back and down and realized oh shit its my bike thats smoking. I pulled right over and my rear tire was covered in oil. I was just happy I didnt try to turn otherwise I def would have crashed

What a mess.

Why this is in Off Topic is beyond me, so I'm moving it...
