Default Tax Return question

When I'm filling out my tax return info, it should be for 2010 correct?

I've been doing this for years. Just wondering why it keeps putting it as 2009. I just deleted the imports and started over. I love how they try to get you to pay for the extra coverage and it doesn't even import all your info.

Did you use turbo tax? I've been using it for a few years now and its great, never gave me a problem yet. In fact I had to upgrade this year for the first time because I have rental property now.

Right in the beginining did you select the option to go over your 2009 tax returns? It gave me that option and I skipped it. I could easily see it messing someone up if you were just clicking through

Been using H&R ever since I started. It imported my 2009 but didnt import any of the info. Lame. O well. Just gonna start from scratch. I would be able to finish but I guess I never got my other 1099 form. Gonna have to call the bank tomorrow. Looks like I'll be getting a good amount back.

Ya know I use H&R Block myself and for some reason I had the same importing issue you are experiencing. I think I had to manually enter it again as usually it works great.

I'm pissed that I can't find my other 1099 form. If I got it in the mail I have no clue to where I put it. I only have a few select spots I put papers.

I'm really glad I have a retirement plan going now. Started late but better now than never.
