[PICS] Am I still allowed to post this in the track section...
...even if it is not a bike track day?
Mark and I took the Miata on its Maiden Voyage today at The Streets at Willow Springs...and it was my first track day too! Since we were running in back to back groups it was harder to get pics but we did get a few... Mark... That tire did not want to be on the ground. Me... It was a bit tricky learning the track but in the end my times improved and I was feeling really great! I am all ready to go back in 4 weeks! I am just happy I am taking the car twice to Streets before I do my first bike track day. I really want to know the track before I learn on the bike. |

I think this is perfectly acceptable! While they may be slow and small, I have always admired Miatas when they hit the track. It looks like you were having a blast and pictures are great.
This make me want to track day my Mustang some day. Just need to throw the sway bar back on the front and remove the drag springs. I am going to have get two full careers going in order to have any chance at affording everything I love. |

I have fun with my STI at the track. Lil more expensive. $800 for R com tires and just like the bike. Burn'em up on a good day.

It is a lot of fun. I love that little car. Plus it is a cheap car with inexpensive upgrades (at least cheaper than the vette ) As you can see the suspension needs some work but we are putting that off until the spring.

Hell Yeah! That rocks! Looks like a lot of fun! I can't imagine "driving" on a track after riding on one.
