Default Went to the Motor Trend Show today.

Snapped some pics. This event has to be about 1/10th the size of the SIMA show. At this show it's mostly production cars for the upcoming year on display. Very few concepts. Here's some highlights...

Hyundai Genesis Coupe Concept:

Challenger:

Maxima:

New-body Mustang (solid rear axle on the GT):

The whole ceiling is a sunroof...

High end Lexus Hybrid with three projector beams:

Volkswagon CC (Comfort Coupe):

I shouldn't have used the flash at all. The one pic of the ZR1 came out nice without the flash on. It's the one of the right side profile and the girl with the black shirt is in front of it. Oh well, they're not too bad. I'm gonna have dreams about the Camaro.

Oh yeah, the ZR1 has carbon fiber lips all the way around and GIANT carbon brake discs. Can't wait to see what it's capable of.

Yeah I saw the zr1 at last years detroit show and its badass. The numbers Ive seen on that thing are pretty impressive but I actually saw a show where they built a twin turbo regular vette that can run with it for about half the cost.

I wish all the styling cues from the Giugiaro Mustang were used instead of just watered down bits and pieces. The Giugiaro version is a very clean and sharp looking machine. This version just looks like more bloated shit.
