This stuff is so good....why didn't someone tell me about it before!
I tried sushi for the first time last night and loooooved it!
I can be a picky eater but I'm always up for trying new things. I can't believe I waited this long. I can't believe I didn't take advantage of the amazing sushi restaurants in London. |

I love sushi. It's so delicious. There's a negative vibe about it when you haven't tried it. People who haven't tried it just zone in on the fact that it's not cooked and then get all stupid about it. But sushi kicks so much ass. Most of the people I know who have been adament about not eating it and never trying it have been converts once they give it a shot.

Hmmm.. suuuuuuushiiiiiiii.......
There's a place by my office that makes this thing called a Yellow Empire Roll. It's spicy raw ahi tuna, julienned cucumber, sliced avocado, rice, and then rolled in yellow (tofu) seaweed. It's flippin FANTASTIC.... It's the only place I've ever had that exact combination, but the yellow seaweed is slightly sweet, so the combination of sweet and spicy, crunchy and soft, it just phenomenal. |

The thing is....I don't like fish or seafood but I was still willing to try it. I tried one with shrimp (didn't like it so I took the shrimp out and loved it) and then had avacado or veggies in most of mine after that. Still very tasty! I've started to eat fish here and there so maybe one day I won't be so picky with my sushi. |

if i could, i would eat sushi every day.
btw i HATE cooked fish. i have tried a million types, of the best, freshest prepared stuff, that other people swear by. it does NOTHING for me. and sometimes worse. but i will eat them all in maki, sushi and even sashimi without even hesitation. I will take care of some shrimp / crab / lobster though. and i do so in sushi as well.
