Could someone give me the cliff notes (in English - not heavy metal lyrics).

I'm surprisingly clueless about Jesus and all that jazz....despite being raised as church going.

It's when the Pharoah commanded every first born slave be killed, but Moses and God had other plans. They sent death to kill all the egyptian first borns. Passover is when the Jews put lambs blood on their doors and did a ceremony only eating certain foods so death wouldn't come kill theirs.
