Default The Horror!!

For whatever reason, TWF is now blocked at work for having a "bad web reputation"! To get it reinstated, I have to give a business-related justification for my use of the site. This sucks! I only have a few sites I can visit at work and now I'm down another!

I had the site scanned and no viruses or anything on it. I don't know where your software gets web reputation from to find out why we have a bad one.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's blocked simply because I'm on it so much. So many sites are blocked for various reasons it's ridiculous! The one that makes no sense to me is youtube is blocked but facebook isn't!?

That's not unusual - IT departments hate YouTube in general because it is such a network hog. If more companies looked at network slow-downs due to YouTube use they would probably block it, too.

I just can't understand why they haven't blocked FB. It's a security nightmare! There are people at work that keep one computer logged-on to FB all day long while they work on another! Lots of people!
