Sucks that your waterproof gear isn't "waterproof". Who knew there were varying degrees of waterproofness. LOL
With my Aerostich and gore-tex boots and gloves, I've done 8 hours in downpours that made cars pull over, and came out dry as a bone at the end of the day. Riding in the rain doesn't suck when you are prepared. I enjoy it actually.

The kacket and pants are 100% waterproof, its just that the gloves let water into the sleeves, the big holes were for my hands. The big hole in the top was for my head. If I was wearing the neck thingie the jacket came with nothing would have gone down the collar. None of my clothes were wet except for 2" at the end of my sleeves. Nothing at all came through the vents. It was pretty cold out but I wasnt cold, I didnt have the liner in either, and I was pretty warm wearing just a long sleeve shirt

My F'n front tire on the SG gives me a friggen road shower. Other than that-Riding in the rain is no big deal.

Since it's a little tough to tell from your description, let me make a suggestion, and if you do this already, nevermind.
It might help if you will put the gauntlet of your glove inside the jacket. That way, when you're riding, and rain starts running down your arms, the water runs right off, NOT into your gloves. I made that mistake the first time I wore my gore-tex gloves. LOL Quote:

it didn't matter, the gloves were just so wet that they soaked right through and my long shirt sleeve started to absorb moisture from the glove.
When I get home im gonna write a reviewe of the suit. |
