I do the majority of my forum surfing at work once I get my machines up and running. The site was blocked for a while but, came back recently. I still check all the forums I've been a member of but, there's more activity here than on some of the others!

I've read your name that way for years and for some reason can't read it any other way.
I used to read it "Protocol Man", even though I knew, based on his avatar, it was supposed to be Particle. My brain just kept seeing it as Protocol.

Typical forum ebb and flow. I keep coming back because it's an oasis away from moderating the local batshit crazy crowd, and be damned if I go back to a VS owned forum.

For some reason I've never had a problem remembering PM's screen name it might be because of....

Trying to put thoughts of not being able to ride my bike out of my mind, while it's -19C (-2F) outside

Heh, I put about 200 miles down on Christmas Eve... It did get a little cold though... dropping into the 50's for my ride back after sunset.

A lot of people around here had no power on Christmas Eve. We had an ice storm come through on the Sunday/Monday, which took out a whole lot of trees. I got lucky and only lost power for about 5 hours. Trust me; there was no one riding a bike around here unless it had a skate tied to the front wheel, and spikes on the back.
