The exhaust on most of these bikes doesn't allow for that anyway. So that point is moot. It hurts to be around most of these toolbags with their music so loud to be able to hear it over their obnoxiously loud straight pipes.

My opinion of loud (music anyway) is if somebody not in your vehicle being able to hear what you are listening to from over 10ft away.

If you are already wearing earplugs, I don't see how helmet speakers could make it worse...you could always buy a quieter helmet Suomy man...
It's not just this helmet...every helmet I've ever worn. I just prefer the ear plugs. I don't really care to listen to music while I ride. But if I was riding a land yacht I would reconsider.

But I understand your point...when shit is cranked they probly can't hear anyway.

I was teasing about the lid... BTW if you have a mp3 player, try listening to music while you ride. I used to say the same exact thing but now that I do it, I actually enjoy having music play.

Truth! I had trouble getting earbuds to stay in when I tried it and gave it up until I wanted to wire in my radar detector anyway. Helmet speakers can be had for $30 or less...

You guys should try these. $20 or so and they work great. They even come with three pairs of differently sized earbuds.

That's complete bullshit dude. I used to have a $9k stereo system in my fucking Dodge Neon (pimpest Neon you've ever seen ). Not only did I enjoy it immensely for many many years, I also turned it waaaaay down whenever anyone else was around. It eventually shook my car to pieces, but it was so worth it.
