Cold gear, no issues today riding in the 30s. I was snug as a bug in my rallye 2 pro suit.

I rode for a total of 130 miles today, temps here were 54-63 degrees depending upon the time of day. Tomorrow is supposed to reach 68 for a high, we will see, but I'll be riding regardless.

Yes, but your roads have no curves in them at all -- 100% N/S, E/W grid == Hell)

And she is also failing to mention that they have had freezing rain all week up until today.

My in laws are here from KC this weekend. My MIL said how strange it feels to have the windows open and here people outside in lat November. It's perfectly normal to me.

We played mini-golf at Peter Pan last night. It was perfect weather for it.

Don't know where in KC your parents were at, but on the Kansas side the coldest it got was 34 degrees and there was no ice.

I didn't say ice...I said freezing rain. It doesn't necessarily have to be below 32 for freezing rain The live in KCMO and I got that info from 2 seperate friends (via facebook status updates ) one who lives North KC and the other lives in Blue Springs.

Either way, that 65 degree day you are having is rare and you and I both know it. We have a good chance of having that kind of weather for the next month or two was my point.

Yes, the nearest curves are 200 miles away. You were happy about the weather not the roads.

You are obviously superior to us dumbfucks who live elsewhere in the country.

Carry on.

Superior, no. More fortunate, yes. The only things in life you don't get to choose are your relatives, taxes, and death. Everything else is up to you.

I chose to live where the roads are curvy, the weather is conducive to riding, and the citizens of this state have the choice (by law / treaty) to do something about the onerous Federal Government if they so choose.

YMMV...

Good point. That's what I was looking for, the positive side, not the "rub in your face" side.

Peace.
