I'm surprised it isn't AWD since Subaru is involved. I kind of like the looks of it though would never consider it because it is not versatile enough.

Kinda like the idea of not having to worry about driveline shock (screw AWD...I'm an "It's all in the tires" kinda guy).

Is the Genesis coupe really much (if at all) smaller than the G35/G37 Coupe? I thought they were just a well-priced alternative, but similarly sized. I haven't seen many around yet, either.

Plenty of good options for under $35K!

- Miata (my choice)
- S2000, before they're all gone
- 370Z
- Genesis Coupe
- Mini Cooper S
- Evo X
- STI
- RX-8 (note that this is a list of good drivers' cars, not saying anything about reliability or gas mileage)

You're probably right, Chris. Online car shopping leaves me with an awful case of sticker shock.
Unfortunately I haven't done much serious shopping/haggling in a long time.
Despite being very tired of my Dakota, I'm kind of liking not having any car or bike notes to worry with

I dig the flat four - lower cg for better handling, lower hoodline for better aeros/looks, and it sounds more unique.
