Not for nothing but thats why I'll never understand why you would dump 10 Thousand dollars into a paintjob...and all the rest of the money...a bentley interior?? for what...Its a fucking racecar.

Sucks...But shit happens. move on and learn a lesson

The owner is about 400 years old and has more money than god. I don't think he was too worried about it. The body work guy was one of the ones I had to sit with while we waited for the verdict on the dude's health and they were joking about how much work he had cut out for him.

Plus, the friend is a professional racer. Not just some buddy who wanted to go fast.

Saddest thing is, the truck was named after the owners granddaughter who died really young. The truck and all the crews gear had 'Lady Katie' logos on it.
Wow...that really does suck for the owner.

Absolutely. But I can laugh about it because the circumstances are kind of hilarious....after we found out the driver was okay of course.

Ouch!
That's what everyone else was saying. This is why I don't want anything to do with teching in cars. The Tech Inspectors should have caught that. Or maybe they did, and the crew changed the tires out after tech and before they ran? Not sure.

should have pulled the chute.

Anyone remember when some dude wrecked a friends brand new Ducati Desmosedici at a track day?

I also thought it was a road course at first and was wondering WTF???

Insurance doesn't cover anything done on a track, if they know it was at the track... shovels and hefty bags are handy though
