Eh, it's putting a bandaid on a much bigger social problem. You might help some kids (and traumatize plenty as well), but you're not fixing the real issues.

Perhaps, instead of sending them into foster care, we should rotate them out with children from countries beset by famine.
Bring the stick figures here, let the parents fatten them up, and then rotate their formerly fat children back to them.
We can solve obesity and world hunger with one program!
