Random crap I remember about the Alamo from school and life in general:

Battle @ the Alamo in 1836 lasted 13 days with the above named people (Sam Houston comes to mind as well, but I do not recall why)

Ozzy pissed on it and was banned for 10 yrs

Pee Wee Herman asked if there was a basement in it, in Pee Wee's Big Adventure. (So did I, and the tour guide said indeed there was).
