My 2000 R1 is going to be 364/per full coverage. Have to love being a student and still under my parents even though its in my name completely.

AWESOME dude!!!!!

I've really been wanting to hear some reviews from someone who has ridden the 06-07 and the 08. How much of a difference does the variable-length intake tract make in the midrange???

Fuck fuck fuck. Everyone is getting new blingin rides.

Actually when I first got my F3 and sold my SecaII. Then had it in a billion peices this is what happend to me.

1 friend got a 2007 V-strom 1000
2 friend got my old Yamaha SecaII
3 friend got a 1997 Suzuki Katana600
4 friend got a 2007 Katana 600
5 friend got a 2006 Ninja 250 and now has an 08 SV650s
6 friend got a 2005 RC51
7 friennd's girlfriend(Number 6) got a 2007 ZZR600
8 friend sold cruiser to get a 2007 Suzuki Bandit 1250
9 friend got a 2003 Suzuki GSXR600

At the same time my F3 was in peices while they were out riding in 70degree weather in December.

But back to the original thread. That is a nice looking R6. I've never really liked the looks of them but the more and more I see them the more they grow on me. I also heard their powerband is pretty stout and not all up top which is what I like.

Don't forget your tank sliders.

VERY nice looking 6 bro. I love the way they hid all the fairing bolts. Really cleaned up the looks.

The only thing I don't like about this year's black version is the wheels being that off color and the forks being gold. I like how mine has the black forks and black wheels.

That's the absolute opposite of the reality

To be honest I'm a little appalled that yamaha did a mild redesign and didn't fix the tank issue. That is a NEW tank and new airbox, they have to change it in order to fit the variable intake tract mechanism in there. Why would they design a whole new tank and airbox and NOT correct that?
