That's about an average for me... but it only lasts me about 2 days or so...

For you, it's whenever the wife says you can. Did she tell you which bike you can buy yet? Got 'em. Prove me wrong, prove me wrong!

Just a bump. Spread the word to everyone you know that has a bike and doesn't ride every day. Lets get as many two wheel vehicles out on the road as we can on the 16th.

I'm getting just over 40 mpg with the ZR1100. I guess 1993 technology ( carbs) isn't the best for mileage

I've been riding every day to work. The bike getting 40 mpg beats the hell out of 14-15 mpg with the Suburban I'm literally saving $75 a week.

your 40 mpg trumps my 2008 technology getting about 33mpg.

Sounds like July 16th will be SUV Smack a Newbie day too.

I ride to work most days. I get roughly 40-50mpg. My work is 20 miles away so it takes me 1 gallon to get to work and back. $4x5=$20-25 a week (Depending on gas prices). My truck gets maybe 15mpg if I'm nice to it (Which I'm not). So $4x15=$60 a week. Not hard to do the math there.
