I'm with you. Between this and the girl posing on the Acura, I do find the thread responses humorous but at the same time I find it sad that these people are being mocked for no reason. They're posting their photos on the internet for their friends to enjoy. These threads so far have all been some choad who decides to post that the subject of the pictures is himself or his girlfriend while not knowing those people at all. The threads are funny but I can't help but think of how sad the people who the threads are based upon must feel.
