I have mine industrial velcroed to the frame. My leads from the ballast to the bulb are a lot longer than 1".

Yeah I made sure to look at that or e-mail and ask those who didn't specify... mine I think have like 5' or 6' long leads...

were yours made for a car? that maybe why...

could be,I don't know. boy I was pissed I can tell you! On the upside,after some finagling,it works great and only cost $40 so I guess it was worth it.

i installed the kit i got for my wifes car. 6000k bright with a little blue tint. similar kit i will be getting for the bike. plug and play. hardest part was getting to the factory bulbs to replace and finding a place to mount the ballast. i was told that the ballast for the ones to go on the bike will be smaller. will post pics of the bike kit as soon as it comes in.
