Those bikes are sweet and pretty cheap if you can find one. I picked that gem up for $2200 like new and that photo is from me bringing it into the basement. Almost lost a finger in that fiasco.. the snow all over the tires and stairs almost killed me. It was one of those steel door access hatches with super steep stairs, and As you can see I broke the lever and fugged up the grip.

That thing has brembo wave rotors and mastercylinders factory for the hydro clutch. Gear driven cams and made a high pitched supercharger whine! I loved it.. Sold it 2 yrs later for $2700 and just rode the shit out of it on the trails of northern michigan. All TRQ! Climed many hills in the gravel pit near the house. Damm I miss that bike!

Oh and I thought riding it out of the basement wasnt the best move either.

You need a bar clamp pad and an aftermarket pipe.

Aftermarket pipe? That thing sounded sweet and left me never short on power... Do you have one?

Cr nice choice... I had a 96 250 and a clean ass 92 CR500. I have pics I will post when I get home. Never should have sold that bad boy. Motor work was top notch and ran about 75-80 HP! Very hard to start on a good day.

That's insane. My last bike was a 98 CR250. Slightly built. Wiseco piston, ported and polished, Boyesen reeds, Procircuit pipe and muffler, carb jetted, forks and spring rebuilt and revalved by Race Tech. Pretty much the normal mods on a CR. I miss that thing...

I used that 500 for everything! Ice racing, Trails, Tracks, Sand dunes, Road even though it wasnt legal on the dirt roads up north nobody gives a fuck.

Now that i just thought of all those good times I'm missing that little fucker. It would pull up the front with just a roll on in 6th on a loose dirt road anytime. Good fun! I swear it would take out a 600 streetbike thru the gears. But around 100 it was all over. I used to have so much fun smoking RX7 sleds on the lakes! They all thought I was crazy riding on one wheel during a drag race and turning the wheel while looking over at them. Studded ice riding is very addictive!
