That's interesting. From my memory, I have seen it up to around 210 or maybe a little more in heavy traffic and I was kind of starting to worry about it being that high. I never heard any pinging at all (not even sure if I could on this engine or not) and the fan was on for sure. Hopefully Ed will post up on this one. (I'm not sure who he is yet, but I do appreciate any and all help on this.)

mines a 954 but it oughtta be about the same. cold days and highways im at around 180-190, warmer and slower 210-230 is fine but not much over. i think my fan starts up in the same place as derfs, around 215. i wont even go over 45 unless its past 160

![]() I dont think I've ever seen anything over 220. The bike will continue to warm up with the fan until it hits about 220 then it levels off

170-210 is normal
fan on at 215/216 temp light at 229 Put in cyclelogic engine ice and it will run 20* cooler and resist the higher temps for longer. |

Got in a little seat time this afternoon. I stopped in at Yamerhaw's house and left the bike idling for like....15 minutes and I watched it while it was running and it never got over 222 and the fan would kill it back down to like ??? 203 or something like that. May have been less now that I think of it, but either way, sounds like it's in the correct range and all is good.
