So who is your buddy? Maybe I know the name. I guess the fastest RD I ever saw run was Tom Turner out of CA. It seems like he was putting his in the low 10s or high 9s at 140+ back then. Pretty awesome runs for a little twin. Last edited by was92v; 05-14-2010 at 08:24 PM.. |

yea i drag my bike, although i only call it my racebike to set it apart from my daily ride. only difference from when i rode it on the street everyday is its a lil lower. still registered, street tire, no wheelie bars, nothing special, its a streetbike. i wanna run my 750(all stock, cept for a slip on), but i havent had a chance yet, maybe in march. its a hi 9sec bike-i think i can get the 750 in the mid 10's, but idk

was92v, very cool pic dude! [thumbsup] I knew it had to be an RD. I had no idea that those things were that popular. I have been told that the same engine was used in the Banshee quad. ??? I had a built Banshee a few years back that would have done well on something like that, I guess. It sure as hell didn't do so good here in the woods trying to ride with these suckers on their 4 stroke hay haulers.

The banshee used the water cooled RZ350 engine. I imagine a built (or stock for that matter) RZ350 motored anything would be a handful in the woods. BUT, when the trees thinned out you could wave bye-bye to the 4 strokes, IF you could take a hand off the bars while it was roosting thru the power band... |

Oh dude, I made a brand new Rincon 500 look sooooooooo stupid on the highway one day with the 'shee that he went and traded it a few weeks later. I don't know the extent of what was done to that 'shee before I got it but it was damn fast. Almost too fast to be ridden for fun.
PO said it had been bored with flat tops, Weisco Hot Rods, some type of porting on the jug, race cut tranny and I can't for the life of me remember what kind of exhaust it had on it but it sounded uber kewl. It had +2 front arms, +4 rear axle and rode like a cadi in the woods but I just couldn't ride it fast enough to keep her cool. It would get hot and start pinging on me unless I could wind it out for a while. I knew better than to try to ride it where I was, but it was priceless watching those guys behind me looking for cover when I would start slinging rocks at them.

My buddy's name is Mark Boulduke (sp?). The 11.08 was his best bracket run, but I'm pretty sure he pulled a low 10 when doing an exhibition run on nitro but I can't confirm that w/o asking him. Don't think he ever broke into the 9's.
