Pfft, US1 in the Keys has more fatal accidents per mile than any other highway in the US.

I've ridden that piece of highway too. Never did see any accidents on it. Leon told me it would take forever to get to Key West. Guess I got lucky.

Holy hell did it ever stink though!!

Accidents happen at certain times, most often when the bars close. I've seen a couple nasty ones there. One was bad enough that they closed down the highway and people pulled grills and coolers out of cars and partied on the Highway.

Scary paved road? Parts of the road coming down from Mount Evans, Colorado. Thousand foot drop offs, no shoulder and no guard rails. Steep and twisty? The road from Evergreen to the road going up Mount Evans.

I'd put I-85 in Atlanta in there somewhere. 85-95mph in a 55 won't even grab a cop's attention.

Seriously I would love to check out those roads. Only one I haev is the Gap.
