Truth. Or whatever your bottom line price might be.

That bike is set up right with about $3500 in suspension +another $2500 or so in well-picked goodies (Satos ain't cheap, but are pretty much the best sounding/power producing pipes you can put on them) - and you're gonna worry about maybe $1000-1500 more than a clean stock one?

if i was really worried about that....
Oh jeeze - are you one of those "suspension doesn't really matter on the street" guys?

That blue Booofa is mighty tasty looking too - though I'm not a big fan of the gold wheels, even though they to 'work' with the blue.

.
at 1 point and time in my riding career i woulda cared. nowadays i don't. i do have racetech springs in the ft of the VFR.

but for commuting i'd get it set up as much as possible for my weight, and call it good.

the 'busa OTOH is already set up for my weight w/ ft springs oil and a rear spring.

Bear in mind, the stock RC is somewhat oversprung & harsh for a 'normal' weight rider, and the full ohlins setup absolutely transforms it into a much better feeling/handling bike - trust me.
