Shit Tigger. Been there done that. The sears one is ok, but not very stable.

I guess you need to get the one with the best service plan

My take is if my bikes will be lifted a few feet off the ground I am making damn welll sure they dont come tumbling down because of inferior products.

I have given up on the handy stands for that reason. seen first hand them failing a few times including with my track bike.
