I always practice hard braking.
I took the bike out two days ago, it had been over a month. First thing I did was practice braking hard. |

Well since we had snow recently and the roads have not been up to par, it's been about 2 weeks since I've been on the bike, that's close to the longest I've gone without riding it. I'm hoping I can get it out on Friday or Saturday for a ride if the weather cooperates, I know the are calling for freezing rain tonight and tomorrow morning so we will see.
I try to ride enough to keep from getting rusty at all. Last edited by tached1000rr; 12-30-2009 at 03:51 PM.. |

Same here. I practice braking hard every time I take one of my bikes out. Too many people out there doing dumb things, and to me, the ability to brake quickly is the skill that will most likely save my ass.
