I just usually look at my odometer and see where Im at mileage wise when I get gas...Its simple math...Add on about 130 Miles to your Odo and thats when you should start looking for gas...We'll for me anyway.

I've done that but the number somehow evaporates after the first cager tries to kill me

before a fairly long trip i always gas up anyway, but so far ive gone as far as 21miles once the reserve light comes on.
