Plus I'm sure you'll be able to find guys on BadWeb wanting to swap parts... More guys bought the S wanting the R than the other way around...

The trick for you is going to be handling the electronics in the fairing vs them being in the tail. I know it can be done though... just never researched it.

I wouldn't swap...I'd buy outright. I like to be able to keep it original. I just never wanted to deal with the headache of switching everything out.

Yeah, that's coolio... if it were me, I'd probably just do the fairing and that's it... or at least make that the first step...

For sure. Thats my main problem is leaning to those clip ons. So the front end would be first for sure.

You need to change the top of the triple tree when going from an R to an S. That's pretty much the only thing that and having to relocate the electronics are what keeps me from doing it.

I love the s front with the r tail. It's just more work than I want to invest.
