Finding bikes online is fine when you can inspect them prior to purchase. It's when you have to travel across the country that you assume the risk. Just the way it goes. Sometimes you get screwed and sometimes you score big. It's gone both ways for me.

I'm sure, I'm just not down with all the risk involved and then attempting to take a bike I've never rode before on a long distance trip.
