I won't. Bits and pieces may be dangling, and I don't want to have to zip-tie everything up and out of the way.
Besides, having multiple bikes helps with not having to worry about that.

you guys need to go to the track more and see soem of the franken bikes out there, I saw one guy riding with no plastics and no subframe.

I'll answer with a picture. On my way to a children's charity ride in 07 after dumping the Bandit a few days before. The ride is about 90% chromed cruisers. I didnt fit in very well.
I rode the CBR naked for a couple of days to watch for leaks after having the engine apart as well. If it's safe, it's safe.
