Makes sense, the car brands listed under that group threw me though. None of them really fit the "I'm an angel to Mother Earth so I can be a shitbag to everyone else" attitude.

Put it this way.....both groups are just as likely to buy Priuses.....but the first one does it because they genuinely believe it helps.....The second does it because it's hip/trendy/ and lets them show off their good intentions. But the second group also buys a lot of showy sports sedans like Acuras, Audis etc.......

No matter Democrat or Republican, only a small portion of people are willing to settle for a greenie car. The rest give in to their baser desires for luxury/size/speed/style, or are smart enough to realize that buying a used late-model car would be better for the environment than buying a new Prius.
