Default I'm not much into snow motorsport but I might change my mind with this thing

An Aprilia SXV modified into a snowmobile.

Man, that sure makes me miss living in Utah. I hate Indiana winters because the snow doesn't hang around long enough to do anything, but it gets so cold you can't really go out and enjoy it without the snow to play in...

I have not been in snow in over 15 years and I have no desire to change that!

Sister,we're together on this one!!! Besides,I'm willing to bet you can get a pretty nice snowmobile for what they want for that kit alone. It's a cool concept,I guess, but I've ridden a similar set-up on a quad and walked away unimpressed.

1. doesn't seem to handle very well.
2. not that fast,really.
3. zero wind protection.
4. kick starting a four stroke dirt bike in the snow/cold? NO THANKS!
5. wearing dirt boots/gear in the cold and/or wear snowmobile boots/gear on a dirt bike? I'll pass...
6. brakes? Who needs them? I don't think that narrow track and a dirt bike rear disk is gonna stop for shit!

yeah I'd much rather have a snowmachine...

I love the snow... but only for 2 to 3 months where I live... the rest... I want to be able to ride... I do love blizzards though...

I could hurt myself badly on that thing.
