I bought a shark 2 yrs ago, wasnt too thrilled with it and bought an rf1000 and a kbc rockstar helmet this past season, so any new lids would be hard to justify.

Still waiting to see the X-12 in person to judge it. But the online pics I've seen look horrible. The 1100 looks tight in pics though.

X-12's are nice, less wind noise than the x-11s. Fit about the same, vents about the same as well, maybe a little better. As far as designs, it's a shoei, they always suck.
