Default Anyone else sick of this?

1) people who back up and then put it into Drive before they have stopped backing up? Probably damaging not only their transmission but also other components like the engine mounts that are forced to absorb the stress. I notice women are more likely to do this.

2) people who are parked on a hill, and when they get back in and leave, you see them forcibly yanking their shifter out of Park with a big "clunk" because when they originally parked they didn't know how to do it properly. Hint for the stupid -- When you park, you are supposed to pull your parking brake BEFORE you take your foot off the brake, instead of allowing your transmission to absorb all the stress of holding the car.

There are plenty of things in this world to get upset about.

A stranger stressing THEIR transmission is not one of them.

If I am considering a used car, I'd like to hope the previous owner treated it correctly

Not to mention I just dislike seeing people doing dumb things that they could change with little to no effort. Like people who refuse to recycle even though it doesn't take any more effort to put something in the recycle bin than it does to put it in the trash bin.

YES!

I hate those people! They make me blind with rage! I want to rip their heads off and smash their lifeless bodies into a meat grinder because, because, wait, who are we talking about again?

Does it matter

Look at it this way, theyre helping the economy, they will either spend hundred or thousands getting it fixed, or junk it and buy a new car

that makes Obama happy

If it ain't my car I don't give a fuck what they do with it. As a matter of fact, if I see them grossly mistreating their car, I'll give them my business card and tell them to call me when they need maintenance. Then charge them $75/hour to change their head lamp fluid and muffler bearings.

There you go.

Obama's not a socialist, he just hates car parts.

Might I recommend a good inspector?

Or, buy a vehicle with a manual transmission...

Nah. Then he'd just bitch about people dragging the clutch, or leaving the dome light on.
