Default Happiness is a clean motorcycle...

...cuz then you can go and get it dirty again.

started with the header pipe:

Before:

After (almost there - didn't want to spend my whole lunch break on it so I'll come back to it later):

Then I figured I'd rinse the bike off:

Then I figured, aw what the hell, may as well polish it as well (Turtle Wax Ice):

A little closer:

(don't mind the freshly waxed chain - chain guard turned out pretty good but the sticker will be coming off soon):

From the front:

From the middle:

Instruments cleaned up nicely:

Even the turn signals turned out pretty decent:

Engine:

Reflection:

Gotta do the wheels still:

Mini-Me:

All in all, I'd say I had a successful lunch break.

I had TL (Daves chick) clean my bike for me the other day before we shot off to philly to meet with marko and gasman. She got right down on her knees and started rubbing it out, all I had to do was ask once.

Looks spotless. I never get that detailed. I usually do the soap and water thing. Dry it good. Take good care of the chain, and we're off.

BTW...My wife had a mutual customer of our come into her office today given her shit about me "downsizing" to the SV. I found it hilarious because he owns a Hayabusa and a Harley.
