Ive driven both cars, and teh subaru is the way to go. The Evo is faster, turns better, and has more power, but the subaru is much more refined and will leave you much happier when you need to drive it.

The subarus tend to push through corners more than the mitsu, but its a little more controlable with the throttle than the lancer. Also the WRX while having a very firm suspension is not uncomfortable like the EVO, the seats are also much more comfortable, and the rest of the car is just much more refined.

You will not be dissapointed with either car if you are looking for performance.

it all depends on the years your looking at, each have highlights and low lights
i would check out NASIOC, best vehicle specific forum on the web
alot of small things have very simple fixes from the aftermarket
