The government required a shitload of people to be canned from GM and they started today.

The stock is tanking...

Local paper said that the unemployment rate in the county was expected to top 10% this next month, much due to job losses in the auto industry.

Some where direct Chrysler people, but a lot are tool and die makers, and tire co people that are losing work, and in some cases they're worried if they'll even get paid for work they've already done.
